The A+ Network (Interlocal #625) is a consortium of 8 schools in Southwest Kansas who have joined together to provide students in their districts with opportunities for instruction through Interactive Distance Learning. Grades served are 9-12. Member school districts include: Ashland, Bucklin, Comanche, Fowler, Kiowa, Kismet-Plains, Meade and Minneola. The A+ Network currently serves over 400 students in the Southwest Kansas area. read more
This semester Ms Tena-Girones has organized a letter exchange between two high schools from Spain and her Spanish I, II and IV classes. After writing for and receiving letters from the students in Spain, the class has taken this exchange one step further towards a cultural exchange by showing what life in rural Kansas is like as a complement to the letters. We work with area community colleges to provide Spanish, Composition, Art, Psychology, Family & Child Development and Anatomy & Physiology to name a few.
